This Christian children’s book begins with scripture. “I can do everything through him who give me strength” Philippians 4:13 (NIV). The I Believe bunny is strong in his faith and demonstrates that he can accomplish what is impossible for himself by trusting God for the strength. This tale will grab the attention of children from age three to six.
Beginning with scripture teaches our children the importance of scripture. The I believe bunny is a great example to our children of Godly living. When we meet Bunny, he is giving thanks to God. Bunny hopes for the rain to let up, but the rain does not get him down. Rabe does a good job at keeping God central to Bunny’s life. When Bunny sees someone in need of help, he runs to the aid but knows he cannot be the hero on his own. Bunny speaks to God through prayer and relies on Him for help. Endersby does a fine job with the illustrations. If you read my review of The Christmas Angel, you know what happens to bad children’s books in my home. The I Believe Bunny will find a home on our daughter’s bookshelf and I hope Bunny can inspire her to live a God centered life.
