Acts 17 Trial Begins Monday September 16, 2010

by Jason Smathers on September 16, 2010

The police report which led to the arrest of Acts 17 has been shown to be false, but Dearborn prosecutor William DeBiasi is pushing forward with a trial. The trial is scheduled to begin on Monday and is expected to last four to five days as reported by Acts 17 member, David Wood. Amal Alslami testified to the police that she witnessed Acts 17 harassing Roger Williams, but later admitted she was not there. Roger Williams made a report to the police which video has proven to be false. Yet no action has been taken against Williams or Alslami while Acts 17 remains defendants in a criminal case. Dearborn police have not responded to questions concerning the false reports.
